Welcome to Ashwood Bed and Breakfast
Ashwood Bed and Breakfast is located in the peaceful suburb of Witherlea, adjacent to the foothills of the Wither Hills Farm Park.
Your hosts, Reg and Maureen Sagar are from a fishing and farming background, with recreational fishing in the Marlborough Sounds now our main leisure time interest.
Our home was built in 2006,on an elevated street, overlooking a reserve and further on to the mountains north of Blenheim. We offer guests comfortable beds and a relaxed atmosphere in our warm, modern home. We have two bedrooms available, one with a queen bed, and the other with twin singles. The guest bathroom has both shower and bath, and the guest toilet is separate.
Off street parking is available alongside our house.
A continental breakfast, or cooked if requested, is served to begin your day while you are enjoying the beautiful view of the Richmond Ranges from our dining room. Complimentary tea and coffee are available from the kitchen at any time.
From Ashwood B&B guests can walk to the Wither Hills Farm Park and enjoy a leisurely walk or trek on the many Park walkways, from which there are superb views over the Wairau Valley and Cook Strait. There are also excellent mountain bike tracks in the Park.
We are a short drive from the Aviation Heritage Centre, the Marlborough Provincial Museum at Brayshaw Park, golf-courses and many local wineries. Five Minutes drive into town there is a variety of quality restaurants and cafes, the Marlborough Civic Centre, the Combined Clubs of Marlborough Centre, and the Convention Centre.
